The Microsoft BI Professionals - Wisconsin is an official chapter of the Professional Association for SQL Server and is also a recognized Microsoft Power BI User Group. Our objective is to provide a forum for Wisconsin Business Intelligence professionals of all levels to network, ask questions, share knowledge and expertise with other members. We plan to meet quarterly. Meetings are always FREE and food is provided. Details about the next meeting can be found on this page.

In conjunction with our quarterly meetings which cover all areas of the Microsoft BI stack, we will be offering Power BI specific meetings on a monthly basis (when there is no quarterly meeting). Those meetings will be posted here as well and we will keep group members updated via email.

Join us on the Power BI Community site and create an account. You can use the site to ask any questions and also affiliate yourself to our particular User Group!  Win prizes and swag for group and community participation.

What's New and What's Coming in Power BI

The Microsoft BI Professionals User Group is excited to announce that Adam Saxton is coming to Wisconsin to present at our next user group meeting on August 31st, 2016. As a result of our activity in the Power BI community and as a Power BI User Group, Microsoft is sending Adam for an in-person visit!

Adam will be presenting on what’s new in Power BI, and also give us a sneak peek at what is coming on the road map for Power BI. We’ll have an extended Q&A to allow for everyone to ask whatever questions they want about Power BI, Adam’s experience over his 10-year career at Microsoft, or his endeavors surrounding his “GuyInACube” video’s.

Be sure to check out his website and explore some of his extremely helpful video’s -
